Help needed for VW t25 1900cc DG water-cooled .
Wiring diagram in engine bay
(In plain English)

Recently fitted a rebuilt engine,
Runs fine until choke opened,
then runs erratic and stops
Carburettor wiring diagram needed
Wiring was labelled but fell off
after fitting 2nd engine.
Poss idle solonoid problem
Any help would be much appreciated
Photos would be a big help

thick red wire connects to the thick red wire white connector
black wire to the choke di icer white connector

yellow red wire is to the temp sensor on the thermostat

whats left?

make sure the vac pipes are sound as that servo hose looks buggered to me

you can see here that the red orange is to the thermostat (temp gauge)

brown and blue meet
yellow connector with the black spur from the carb de icer to the auto choke

...and this is mine ..but it's an '86 so might be a little different but the carb wiring is the same
