sliding window

looking to replace my louvre window set (non sliding door side) on my 1983 holdsworth with a sliding unit,reason being when the cooker lid is up you cannot open the window to let the bacon aroma out !! what should i be looking for ? factory size or converted size ? i believe there are different size units for the t25, can anyone help?
