Hi Ladies and Gents
I am new here so be nice, I have just bought my first Van and need a few bits doing for an MOT (Don't they all) the main problem other than me being a novice is that the prevous owner has had som welding done but removed foot pedal and from what I can see it needs a plate to mount the the cable holder in the foot well about 3 inches by 3 inches anyone in chatham kent able to help me out and or come take a look to give me a few pointers.

Hi and welcome. Might be better putting this in Tech section. I'm sure someone will be along soon, however and answer your query on here.

Met Doc earlier today and showed him Edla's throttle to see how it is mounted. Have suggested that he posts some photos of the state of his throttle in the hope that someone can come up with a solution.
Spotted his van whilst walking Olly the other night and it will be great to see it out on the road.
P.S. Welcome to Club 80-90 Doc.

"State of his throttle?" - "Problem?" - Sounds ominous. We like a challenge!!

Thanks for all your help guys sorted throttle out started it and have now discovered the brakes need a good overhaul and the idle needs setting. Any offers from the kent crowd would be appreciated and worth a drink or ten.
