check out the wiki guides / and search here ad archive - there is loads of info. Its where ive started - Saabs look good, are easily available and cos my dad has had loads of saabs I know theyre really comfy.

Easiest to fit are standard T25 seats, be it captains with armrests or just plain seats

Unfortunately the captains ones are mega money and I find the lack of lumber support a killer for my back

Lumbar support. My captains are far comfier than the Saab 9000 leathers i used to have in. And they don't have to be mega money.....ebay tax. I got a great set for £120 just by posting a wanted ad late last year.

When changing seats you have to be particularly carefull of how high they make you sit. Saabs made me sit with my legs only just below the steering wheel even after removing all the extra adjusters on the drivers side (the wife could not touch the cab floor) and I would have been talking in high pitches for weeks had I walked away from even a minor accident.

You can negate that by fitting a smaller wheel but with 16" alloys it's hard enough parallel parking into very tight spaces with a standard 45cm wheel
