Evening all, im just intrested to see if anybody knows of any good places to camp with the kids north of birmingham, but south of carlisle? we have 3 kids.. 9..6..3, so could do with something to entertain the lot if possible? somewere just to jump in the camper and pop off for a weekend, ???????/ any ideas anybody??????

This site is a bout 20 mins from Buxton and we love it. No entertainment as such, but loads of space to run around, a lovely stream that the kids (mine are 10 and 6) love splashing around in with fishing nets and wellies or a rubber dinghy, great walks near and caves a short drive away. Very nice pub just over the road too.
New owners this year and they are lovely.

sounds nice, but if you have posted a thread to the site, i can't see it for some reason? have you got the name and address????

Alice - I went to that campsite about 10 years ago and have been trying to remember for ages where it was/what it was called. It was really nice by the river so thasnks for posting it, shall have to go back now!
