I'm not complaining about a particular suppliers brake lines but will ask, do any of you guys suffer from theirs touching the tyres when turning more than half a turn either way?
These are the performance teflon over braided type, they are quality items but I do have concerns that they touch the tyres quite easily on relatively small degrees of lock.
The original 'rubber/neoprene' VW ones never came close.
The new ones do have buffers but they appear to be just large grommets pulled over the unions and pushed down the pipe so aren't fixed in any one position.
Any thoughts?
Standard carat wheels with normal 185R 14C tyres

I only thing I could think of doing was to put a slight twist in the flexible pipe so they coil up a little when the go slack?

The GSF one I put on our's was doing exactly the same so I put the little twist in so it's inclined away from the tyre, also pushing the long protective sleeve to the bottom of the hose prevents it bending towards the tyre.

I had this problem - the ones i had on were way too short - they should be 410mm long and I beleive there are 2 lengths depending on year of van

I have no worries about them being correct as they are definately for a late (floating caliper style) braking system.

Your replies have made me feel a little less anxious about this...I'm thinking a little 'twist' in the pipe might be the way to go, cheers (although I'll have to bleed the pigging brakes again)
