After reading the recent thread on here about the correct tyres i am going to switch mine over as currently running on 195/65/R15 91V and obviously these are not loaded correctly for a full camper with 4 adults and all their gear etc
my question is someone locally is advertising 4 michelins that are 195/70/R15 102C van tyres with 6mm of tread left, am i right in assuming the only difference between 195/65 and 195/70 is 5mm tyre height and should fit my wheels no probs ???

no that value is an indication of the tyre's aspect ratio, which is translated as the section height as percentage of the section width.
but the tyres are significantly better than the ones you have on.

original tyres were 185/82 14" so remember your speedo will not be accurate!

Now you just need to make sure your wheels are also adequately load rated, what are you running?
