T25 Radiator & Fan Cowl Fittment Problems :(

Hi there,
Ive got a 1981 T25, 1.6 D non turbo imported from Germany. The radiator began leeking a year or so ago which I bodged knowing full well i'd replace it this year. I got a new radiator from JK, which is said to fit both diesel and petrol T25's and is the only one they sell.
To try and explain i've attached a link here to some annoted pictures i've taken:

The new JK supplied radiator has a different Fan Cowl fittment compared to my original - the new one has 3 M6 size holes to the left and right of the radiator - as such, I also need to get a new Fan and cowl as the old one will not attach to the new radiator. I done this.
Once I attached the new fan cowling to the new radiator, I could see that the diameter of the fan is wider than the original by 30mm or so, plus the positioning of the fan on the new cowling is far higher up than the original. All this means it now wont go back into the original hole it came from?
Has anyone else come across this scenario?? I kind of assumed that the T25 Fan space in the bulkhead would have been the same for all T25's but clearly not.
Does anyone know if there are other different fan cowls fittments that have the orginal size and fan location (narrower and lower down) with the fittment of the new JK supplied radiator so it can bolt on??
Any other suggestions or ideas are welcome.

Thanks for any guidance you can give.
