Hi
I have just picked up my van and I suspect that the top of fuel tank is rotten as it leaks when its full of diesel, (its fine when the level is lower) so I need a new tank my question is are all the type 25 fuel tanks the same i.e will a tank from a similar aged type 25 petrol fit my diesel type 25??? any advice would be greatly appreciated

It could have a hole. But chances are its a breather hose or grommet that needs replacing.Either way you will need to drop the tank to have a look..
You give no details of your van.Early and Late vans have a different size filler neck.brickwerks sell new ones..

There are several tanks to choose from (2 wheel drive):
Early with large filler neck grommet (metal filler neck)
Late with smaller filler neck grommet (plastic filler neck)
Late with smaller filler neck grommet, swirl chamber and larger fuel outlet (plastic filler neck) for petrol injection models.
