Storage for essentials in a caravelle

Wherever i go i always carry a few essential tools, a jack, wheelbrace, some oil and a bottle of water just incase.

Problem is most of my junk is either loose under or behind the back seat and so cornering usually is accompanied with a swoosh, clunk/thud as stuff slides around in the back or it appears from under the back seat like a monster in a horror movie and attacks my passengers feet.

What does everyone else with caravelles do with their tools and stuff to keep it secure?
Has anyone made a storage box that keeps stuff hidden from wouldbe theiving scum?

got this in mine, it was there when i bought the van. Rear cushion fits on top of it so the bed is level, Fair amount of storage in there. The 2 sides flip towards the centre and then hinges forward, where the sides pieces fold up there are compartments where I store a few tools and jack, in the centre is a large compartment with a removable tray so as to give access to the engine cover.
Sorry got no pictures of it open. Its is also carpeted on top now so when stuff is put on top is doesn't slide about and matches the carpet on main floor and cab area

Very neat. That'll hold all my tat. Must make sure i've got good fitting caps on my oil and water though.
