A novice finds 2 strange holes

Hi, it's me again......the new boy!!! I have noticed that
My newly acquired westfalia high top has 2 holes, one on
Each sided the vanat the base of the high top, as if some
Sort of pole should slot in. I have no idea whatvsize are for
As nothing came with the van. I can only think it might be
Something that stops you from falling out of the top bunk.
Please, when you have stopped laughing, at what no doubt
Many of you will think is a stupid and basic question, if you
Could let me know what is missing, and where I could get
One from, would be greatful

Its as you guessed - the fixing is for a rod that supports a childrens safety net (was an extra from Westfalia.) Pic here shows it (angled from the bed looking towards front of bus) in Westfalia accessories catalogue item 5.

Hi Didnt have them in when we looked last summer - ended up buying a 2nd hand Mothercare wooden bed guard and chopping down the bit that goes under the mattress, works a treat and cost me £5
