Sod Heritage and get yourself to VW as it's only £1.07 plus vat forthe whole plate with the rubber attached. I got one as a spare a while back

This may sound a very silly question but I rang Volkspares (as they are local to me in Croydon) and they didnt have it but put me in touch with TPS (http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk) and when I first rang they said yep we can get that will take 5-7 days, then next time I rang I they said they couldnt get it as its an obsolete part!??

I could really do with replacing the strike plate, especially if its only a quid!

Has anyone got any phone numbers or details of where I can get one of these bad boys for such a good price!
Thanks

Not being funny but my post above tells you all you need bar a phone number

Find your nearest dealer at http://www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk/

The reason I reckon it was so cheap was because it was close to going obsolete. They did the same with the 1/4 light bar, left inner sill and right sliding door rail cover. The dealer will tell you if it's gone obsolete since I posted the information above. If it has then you have to pay the Heritage price

214-843-635B is still listed with a price and the price update was yesterday whilst the bit I ordered that went obsolete last week is now showing as no price, ie obsolete, so order it and see
