repaint top half of van with rustoleum,
insulate
fit interior panels
carpet interior walls
fit bed
all before i go camping in a weeks time, not sure im gunna get it all done though, sanded top half of van down today though so hopefully its sunny in the morning and ill be out there with the paint , fingers crossed

my son cut pieces of wood to fit. we used cardboard to get measurements etc. we also fitted a steel bar (from B&Q) to the top screw, across the back to support it, as we often have 4 adults and i wasn't convinced wood on its own was strong enough.

this may give you an idea, I made my own from MDF and futon bed hinges. screwed and bolted into the side of van.

Same here full width bed. What bolts did you use and where from? SCrewfix?
Did you use existing bolt holes and mountings, which ones?
Did you go through any of the rubber groomet holes on the floor?
THank you.

i just screwed thru the inner skin if the van, using self tapper screws, i bet screw fix will do them..
the overall interior isnt too "tiki", just bamboo on either side, fridge, bog, swivel porche seats, full bed, 70s fold up table, wood steering wheel..truck mirors and the marmite sun visor..
