some kind of leatherette? or carpet? i cant decide, i will be covering them myself and i am definatly an amateur but cant decide wich will be nicer, carpet seems more comfortable but the leatherette look seems like a nicer looking idea,

wot do people on here cover their interior panels with? and were do you all get your materials from?

hi,we covered ours with leatherete as it is washable and wont hold smells such as cooking etc. it turned out ok and quite easy to do. we bought the leatherete and used the old panels as templates then used spay carpet adhesive to fix it. good luck with your project.

Elmo, try this
http://www.carcarpets.co.uk/epages/Stor ... 0Lining%22.

The company is called Coverdale, the lining is what is used in a lot of campers, they have loads of colours. I'm using this to update my van but using leatherette above the kitchen to make it easy to keep clean. There's other companies that do it too and I've seen it on a popular internet auction site too. Google van lining.

Good luck.

i've used the coverdale stuff if your using it on the panels it can be a bit bulky if your stapling it to the backside of the panels you may be better with the superstretch stuff from megavanmats.Or if your after vinyl give josh a call at martrim

Hi

I did all my door cards and panels in baby blue oilcloth with white polka dots and used a staple gun to attach.

For my first attempt it looks proferssional and i have been chuffed when others have asked where I got the interior done...

Wide range of colours /patterns from Cath Kidstone for the uber trendy to basic colours and patterns in in c & H fabrics or any similar outlet - usually used for table cloths - and I did a contrasting pattern for the table top - again using a staple gun from b&q to fix it.

Really freshened up the inside

Hope this helps
