i have always loved the bus in this video and i am now thinking although my bus is currently green i am going to paint it white on the top half and paint the bumpers white to match with the black strips, so it looks like the one in the video only green

my question is, were do i buy the black strips on the bumpers? or are they just a vinyl strip?

Bumber strips are not vinyl but expensive pieces of rubber

I would think they are a rubber strip.I very much doubt you can buy the vw original strips now.But you could always make your own.Somewhere like http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/ or http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/ could no doubt supply you with the rubber...

And they only really look good on chrome bumpers which takes you into the realsm of even sillier money

I think you'll find the bumpers on the van in the video are chrome but white would look good

no they are definatlt clearly white and not chrome
