Anyone know a good upholstery company in the North West

Hi,
I’ve bought some fabric from Günzel (Westfalia Van Dyke) and I’m looking for a company in the North West to undertake some basic upholstery work:
• R&R bed seat covers
• Seat cushions covers with zips
• Fit the pre-made front seat covers with some modification to give a better fit
Can anyone recommend a company?

Hi I used this guy to make up some cushion covers for my van and he was very reasonable . He's in the centre of Macclesfield. Where abouts are you?

There's a guy called Wodge (Anthony Ward) who runs his own upholstery company in Warrington. He's become well known in the VW scene in the north west & he is a member of both Demon Dubs & Angel Dubs. I've seen the work that he has done on his own T25 camper & on other peoples vans & his workmanship is excellent.

Thanks chaps for your suggestions. I live near Crewe so both are a similar distance. I'll give both of them a ring and see what they say. Many thanks.

call colin in buckley on 01244 546001, he did my wedge and the seats in the early devon that was for sale by umgum recently. you wouldn't go anywhere else when you see the quality of his work

We've a really good place in Reddish, Stockport (Fingerhut & Jones) but I guess it's a little out of your area. They usually upholster sofas and armchairs so a few easy cushions for a T25 were a doddle for them (and look great too).

Don't give up with Colin in Buckley, he has been away because of a bereavement, seriously you can't get better than him

In the end I've left my precious seat parts with a local company (J.B.H. Coach Trimmers, 01270 842123). They are literally less than a mile from me. They did a neighbours T2 - very nice job. I have an early Westy with a full width R&R seat - see
http://www.westfaliat3.info/html/westfa ... led_-.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , Joker 2. Cost of £200 for:

recover R&R bed (base and back)

seat cushion with zip and cut-out for table leg (item 11 from the diagram on the above web page)

Seat Cushion with zip (triangular back rest for above cushion)

Fit two front seat covers (base and backs x2) with modifications to improve fit
I supplied the 'Van Dyke En' material and the seat covers - products of Günzl.
I had a quote for £110 but the chaps at JBH appeared more knowledgeable. I'll attach pictures when done.
