The horn decided to start singing unprompted the other week. Whipped out the fuse at the time and have gone back to it today. I have had a poke around and I can't work it out. Used to get the problem on the bay. The earth goes through the column and attaches at the bottom. These wear over time and it ends up earthing on e column itself. Could it be the same problem here?

test at the horn also. had odd one a week or 2 ago horn had shorted somehow and was earthing through its self earth wire was neutral but horn was sounding constantly.

Just to complicate things I have a golf steering wheel. The horn press seemed ok.
