Landy drivers, eh? They should have been nicked and then given community service to repair the damage they had done to the countryside. Then had their wagons crushed. Too controversial?

I hope the Police Officers reported the drivers, so they can be summonsed to court for the magistrates to hear the full facts. They should be billed for the call out of the emergency services.

This sort of publicity is used to close green lanes.

Yes they are Idiots, But Land rover dont make the idiots, the people who drive them in this way do.

As an Ex Landy owner I was very worried about the behavior of a small % of idiots who abuse the rights of way. They are responsible for the reputation of the 4x4 owners. The press love this and they are giving them ammo, which does not help other users of the ROW, be it if they drive a VW, Landrover, Frontera or whatever.

Must be yet another case of a particular type of vehicle attracting a certain type of driver...like Beemer 3 series drivers?
