Do you need to take out the wardrobe to do engine swap

HI Guys
These are probably really thick questions so I apologise in advance, just a point raised by my garage ready to do my 1Y transplant.
1. Do you need to take out the rear wardrobe in order to get access to do the engine swap?
2. How do you best gain access to the 'snorkel' to get the cold airflow through to the engine?
My van is a westy atlantic high top, and I intend keeping it n/a using the 1Y inlet manifold.
Many thanks
