Do you leave them on, or take them off? Is it something that will get nicked?

Normally leave mine on, will probably get nicked now you pointed that out.
I have a spare mirror mount here somewhere if you need one.

Cheers for the offer of the mirror mount, i'm going to trial it on the rear quarter as it has a mount there, It's all fitted now, but have no one to talk to yet
If it doesn't work out, it will go on the mirrors, so could well take you up on that

She's already laughing at me, just for buying one. She thinks i'm gonna go all smokey and the bandit

Rear gutter mount on mine,stays there all the time.
Think in going to need a new CB though,seems to only want to work when out of town,get loads of static coming through
