Interior lighting upgrade

Hello there
I have an Autosleeper Trident 1990 with all the original interior lighting. I camped out this last weekend and though the lights were all fairly dim (I think they did get brighter as they warmed up). Has anyone replaced their lights (strips and spots) with the result that they have a much brighter output?
Many thanks

ihave replaced the standard bulbs with les's as a start.
the original tube lights are no problem , as any tube they do take a couple of mins until full brightness then more than adequate
i also have led strips , diffrent sort of light but ok.

These strip LEDs are really easy to mount and wire up. They give much brighter light and they use much less power. Check out a local dept store and see what they are offering. You can use existing switches from dome lamps or factory lighting.
Here are some examples of what I did.

I have been contemplating switching to LEDS for a while for the power saving and flexibility of those strips. Much easier to hide. My only hang up is will the light be suitable and spread enough to flood the area. Although I suppose for reading an LED spot would be more suitable.

Many thanks for all your contributions. I will try an LED replacement for the spot and courtesy lights and in the meantime, wash the lenses of my strip lights and get tube replacements. To brighter nights!
