Hi All,

I'm looking to fit roof bars to my van to take surfboards. Has anyone done this on a leisuredrive full length fibreglass pop-top? I am concerned about the force of the wind while driving causing damage to the fibreglass. Any comments?

Thanks.

CHEERS Folks,
had few ideas myself made stainless bars in work and was going to drill holes in roof and fit a backing plate under roof, mate recons to much wind resistance but he tends to foget this is a1.6diesel!! and realy doesnt do wind resistance unless driving off a cliff!Any way working plan 3, 4 side iylets board on roof with two ratchet straps across. All ideas wellcome will post pics when sorted.

Am thinking of putting roof rails on my doka canopy. Anyone come across suitable set of donor rails - got to be straight (no curves) and around 5 foot long.
