was just wondering would the bmw cv's fit our axles/vans seem to have a greater angle than 944's and cheaper ??

Just read all of that on the fine tuning of CV joints. Interesting but definitely not the sort of thing you do to a road going Syncro. The word race is used a lot and when something is tuned for racing that means its tuned for 'a race' and then probably changed afterwards. Those amongst us who have spent fortunes preparing competition cars will know that.
The Burley Motorsport people have a lovely rear driveshaft kit with lovely Torx Bolts instead of splined cap head bolts and it doesnt look that expensive when you think of what you get.

Raised shoulder to the inside, I thought it was to the outside?
