We are looking at putting some interior panels in our camper to replace the warped coloured hard board. Has anyone got any recommendations or non-recommendations for the clips please. Thanks in advance.

your better off using fir tree clips if your making your own panels i get mine from
www.tools-supplies.co.uk
www.workshopsupplies.co.uk
and get the fix30 ones and use 4mm ply.
All you have to do is hold the new board in place then drill through the new board and metal with a 6mm drill bit and push the clip through the hole when there all in place lever them off and cover the boards leaving the clips in when there done just push them into place.

Thanks for that wodge, decisions, decisions, decisons of weighing up the cost and ease etc.
Now do we buy ply and make my own or buy precut ones. Let's think sensibly about this, we have no garage or work bench, the saw will even be blunt after cutting the laminate floor. Probably pre cut ones, I was thinking about these:-

Cazz,

I bought a set of these. They are OK - plywood is better than JK MDF (I have had both). They will need varnishing (both sides). The big one opposite the sliding door did not fit exactly (and one or two others were slightly out - although could be my van that is slightly out) so make sure you line them up and trim as required before fitting.

I used fir tree clips (the ones from JK did not always hold and often snapped) but beware - once the fir tree clips are in they may not be easy to get out.

A small tip if you use the JK clips.

Before trying to fit them to your panels leave them in a cup of boiling water for a minute first, then they aren't so brittle and less likely to break when your fitting them.
