hi to all!, i bought my first t25 devon pop top a few months ago, its cool but the roof and door lining capets seem very dry and when touch them a lot of fibres come loose (like a fine dust) has anyone else had this problem? is it common? or is there anything i can do stop it? just a bit worried with stuff getting on my families chests. any thoughts would be cool. cheers

Hi
We have the same problem with our Devon Moonraker that we bought last year, we have tried vacuuming it, shampooing it, but at the end of the day its nearly 30yrs old, so we are just going to remove it and fit new carpet linning, you can get it on ebay, it will probably cost you between £80-£120 to do the whole of your bus.

I had the same problem, there is no alternative but to rip it out and replace it. Easier to do than it would first appear!

Wear a mask as not only will the carpet have 'powderised' (for want of a better word) but the old glue behind it will have too. Best to remove old loose glue with a stiff brush and keep that mask on. Air the camper for a while afterwards and once the dust settles vacuum it from top to bottom as the dust will have settled just about everywhere.
