goes between the fuel filter and tank and is connected by a T piece - i assume it is the fuel return line from the carb? but i thought this would go back to the tank.
Also what is the device it is connected to with the wires attached?

Theres one of those heater things under my van as well and i havent a clue how to work it.anyone know?there doesnt seem to be any controls on the dash for it .the van was converted to RHD so maybe the controls were ommitted when the new dash was put in.

Theres a control panel in the back of my van, tried switching it onto hot and turning up the thermostat ,heard an audible click when i did this and a green led came on but no heat blowing. Will take a picture of the control panel tommorow and post so u can see what it looks like. Not easy to get at the heater as under the van. Will try getting the tester out soon and see if any voltage getting to the petrol pump.

Thats one version of an eberspacher control panel.....Note* the heat isn't instant, the unit has a warm up cycle, if everything is OK then it blows cold for a minute or two before the tone of the fan changes and the pump starts making a noise after which the air slowly gets warm.
Leisure battery voltage needs to be 11volts minimum but many people report their eber needing morn than this to fire up and function correctly.
PS: looks like the dial knob is missing? heat control rotational knob. the picture isn't that clear.
