jackall hi lift jack 8000

is this a good make?
I can get one for £100 inc the correct adapter, is it a good price?

Pretty well all the same now and if the adaptor is included it seems a fair price. The Land Rover adaptor fits Syncros

Jackall is what I have, has been great, I even know how to strip them down and all the spares are available readily from across the pond
don't have a spring clippy thing to hold the arm upright when parked, I use a small length of bungy cord to do the job, the springy thing on the high lift can get in the way sometimes and do get bent and broke too

So do think £100 is a good price? Don't really want to pay over the odds for something i'm in no rush to buy

when i priced up a while ago i was getting prices of £55 for jack and £18 for the adaptor.

I paid nearly £80 five years ago on a vat free day at machine mart - I don't know if they still sell them or just the cheap farm jack - don't go there, spend the extra on a hi-lift or a jackall

the farm jack ones seem to be 3000kg jacking up and about half that going down

You know what, I got one of those £30 jobbies and I will give it its due, its outside all the time and still works a good un after a couple of years and I have used it loads.

I'm pretty sure i bought my 'special edition - green' Hi-Lift off of CJ for £60.

I just thought they were all about that price?
