ignition module for 2.1

Ive just googled for a picture of this module only to told that the 2.1 doesn't have a seperate one like earlier ones as this task is handled by the feul injection computer. Mines an 89/90 DJ,is this correct as perhaps my garage is asking for the wrong part. Regards Rob

Could it be the ECU your after?

DJ with Digijet injection had a seperate ignition module. MV with digifant injection had the module incorperated in the injection ECU.

If it is the ECU then the auto and the manual ones are different.
The replacement number for the auto is 025 997 021A The original is 025 906 021E
The manual replacement one is 025 997 021 The original 025 906 021F

Hi Rob, Yeah I went to the garage this morning and it is the ECU that is missing. Unbelievable Rob.
