worn bearing noise on over-run - update

Dear All
Thanks very much to those that posted suggestions on my earlier appeal for advice -
I had a worn rear bearing noise develop last week and it worried me for a few days - Only evident when in gear and decellerating /on overrun going downhill.... & I promised to post an update
Before getting a chance to investigate the noise has now disappeared as quickly as it came ......! How can that happen ??
I am now fretting about the coolant pipes at the front where they go into the radiator staying stone cold even tho I can "feel" water in them when I squeeze the pipes... temp guage works ok shows engine running very cool - heater ok - and Im reluctant to remove thermostat as hoses are warm either side of it.
I drained and refilled the system in November and thought all was bled ok... I got water to (eventually) spurt out of the bleed valve. Perhaps I have an air lock preventing water circulating properly. Is there a way of pressure filling the system like wot we do with the brake fluid kits?
Any suggestions ?
Never a dull moment with a camper....
