Hi i wondered if anyone can help me. Whilst driving on the mway my temp gauge goes down to cold when doin about 60. The more i slow down or come off the mway back on normal roads it goes back up to half way. Should it stay in the middle and also with the temp gauge goin to cold on the mway will this use more fuel as the engine is not at running temp????.

I think your thermostat could be stuck open

How easy and what do i need to do. It had a new one about 6 months ago.
