Using an undersized battery

A few months ago the battery died on my Honda Civic 1.4; I nicked the biggie out of my van, which hasn't helped in the process of getting it back on the road...

I've just been given another battery, so the van battery is now back where it belongs.

Question: the battery that came out of the Civic was 300A, this one is 200A. Am I likely to come unstuck? It's an automatic, so can't be bump started. I'm assuming that with the warmer weather, the fact I'm not using demisters etc, and the car starts very easily, I'll be okay until the van's back... Sorry it's only indirectly T25-related, but I guess the principles will be relevant to vans.

get your self a portable battery pack to be on the safe side, I have found it invaluable esp on cold winter mornings.

Hmm, not a bad idea. But hopefully I'll be back in the van by winter... With a leisure battery as back up. But if not...

In the meantime, trying not to leave the lights on.

never use a leisure battery to jump start, it will weld the plated together and "frell" it
