Is there a cheap place to get one? I'm after something to run all the 12v stuff from. I think it will look a bit naff wiring everything directly to the battery.
So is there some kind of box like a mains consumer unit, that you can wire all the 12v stuff from?
Or does everyone just fit in line fuse holders.

plenty available, i got one from jk but it looked such poor quality i did not fit it. i went to my local motorist centre an got a 4 fuse one, works great and can add another if needed.

Why not a Zig Unit or similar distribution accesssory?

A fusebox is a tenner, a zig unit is £££ and is a bit bulky.
Just looking for something to tidy up the cables. One cable from the battery to a fusebox and then splitting from there, each with its own fuse sounds ideal

Masses of room for expansion! Seperate fuses for everything you choose to attach, also has earthing points as well. The distro block is great too, can be used as an input too, so if you add a solar panel (for instance) then it can be connected to the battery via the distro block, nice and tidy!

Cheer's, now treat me as a numpty but what is the gold one for? And why does it feed the the other one? I'm not asking because i disagree, i just don't know the roll each of them play (12v electrics not my strong point) Could the eber be wired into one of them? (25amp)

The gold one is a distribution block, so if you wanted to take a high amp feed for something (like your eber ) you can run a fat cable straight from the block to the little fuse block for the eber, no need to run through the fuse board. You could also run a feed from a solar panel charge regulator into the distro block rather than connecting it direct to the battery. Just means you can do all your heavy cabling without loads of wires going through your fuse board.

Also, the fuse board i used has a bank of fuses down each side of the board, so i ran a cable from each side of the gold distro block to each side of the fuse board, mainly to keep the wiring nice and neat, but also means you can disconnect each side of the fuse board independently should you need to.

Soooo, bear with me here. From the leisure battery, i'd go directly to the gold block, eber cable would go from the gold block via inline fuse to the eber.
Then individual cables from gold block to fuse box? I thought you put 1 cable into fuse box then it all split from there?
Will have to end up having a nose at yours at one of the meets coming up. I'm in no rush, the eber for now i'll attach to battery with an inline fuse. Lights and power points can wait.

The only reason I ran two cables to the fuse board is that mine has two banks of fuses. So each bank has it's own feed.
