Fitting quarterlights

Hi, is there a quick way of fitting these or do i have to fully follow the instructions in Haynes (which seem ott - why can't they say if you just want to replace quarter lights skip this, this and this.) Personally, i am not looking forward to the "Carefully bend back the metal tag supporting the regulator rack loop then manipulate the regulator assembly out of the door aperture." bit. On my old Polo it was just two screws, job done!

Fixed quarterlights?
The quarterlight bar is fixed with a screw at the top of the door frame and a bolt hidden behind the door card. Once this is removed it's a straightforward removal of the seal and glass.

Cheers, i'll have a look. I've had an opening quarterlight put through but i've got a fixed to replace it.

Right, i've taken out top and bottom screws. I have wound main window down all the way. There is a very little movement when trying to pull the thing out but i don't want to use too much force in this area. Do i pull the bar down and then work it out? Is there anything else i need to remove?
