Now i've done a search on the forum, a couple people have asked, but i haven't seen an answer. I've crawled under jeds van to have a look at his.
So where is a good place to T in? There seems a half decent place just after the fuel filter where i can fit a T, any reason i can't?
Another place i've seen is the pipe coming out of the fuel sender, is this any good? There is also another pipe that is clipped to the one coming out of the sender, but then carries on past the sender, what is that pipe?
for some reason the online manual says max 300mm from T to pump? i haven't heard this before?
So does any one have a diesel eber that they have plumbed in themselves, and could pass on their knowledge

My t is just after the tank outlet, pump is about 5-10cm from that and feeds fuel to the other side exact same place as yours eber..

Lloydy, mine is 'T'd in on the main fuel pipe (tank to filter) about three inches after the pipe comes through the tank strap, this means that it is within the 300mm to the heater. I suppose you'd be better using this pipe, full of fuel all the time, than any other.

Aahh so the pipe sticking through the tank strap (drivers side bottom of tank LHD) is the feed? Thats what i'm trying to work out, thanks.
Jake, is your pump on that side of the van too.
And is it easy enough to clamp the pipe to cut in T, or is that a no no

WTS^ mine is T'd in between tank and filter.

IIRC i did it immediately before filter just cos it was easier/cleaner/more space. Went to motor factors and got a metre of 8mm ID water hose and ran this from the T down behind shock 'tower' bracket to fuel pump - ran the eber line inside this to protect it from chaffing on chassis and gneral wear as its quite small.

I've got no room before the filter, it's quite tight up against the engine bay.
Just to confirm i've got the right pipe is it this bigger pipe coming out of the hole in the tank strap?

i've now fitted the pump near there

so just need to T in the pipe between fuel line and pump

Heres mine, uses a brass home made union made for the Finish Army. Tis petrol.

Doing the same to my SA 5cyl. Where can quality T pieces with large main and small T take-off diameters be found ?

I got mine from ebay.. Some motor factors sometimes have a box of different size ones if not.
