Getting rid of damp smell

Wotcha. My camper really stinks of damp. I intend to weld the hole in the passenger footwell and check the windscreen. I initially intended to change all the upholstery but didn't realise how much new ones would cost. Loathe to spend much because I don't think its worth it. Does anyone have good tips for getting rid of the smell. Help would be appreciated because at the moment no one else wants to use it

First thing would be to stop it getting more damp. Then i would give all the furnishings a real good clean with a vax or similar. Then maybe hire a dehumidifier and leave it running in the van for a couple of days. After that i'd visit a caravan shop, they normally sell those crystals which soak up moisture.
Don't think there is any quick easy way
Good luck, Lloyd

We use the crystals that Lloyd is talking about they are great,It's amazing how much damp that they collect we empty the tray once a month.
