stick these co ordinates into google and click on maps 52.793180, -3.884869

Its a spot we used about 8 years ago - its a national forest car park/toilets with (what was then) a decent toilet block with hot water too. We stopped there for 2 nights, some folks pitched tents on the small bits of grass and another van stopped too.

Hi mark,
is porthmadog classed as Cardigan bay? If so, we saw a lovely looking site at blackrock sands last year. We haven't stayed there yet, as were at the haven site further down the road. It kind of looked similar to valley of the rocks in places. I had a quick look on uk campsites and I think it's this one

it's right next to the beach, which you can drive onto. Lots of kitesurfing going on when we were there.
Not sure if the site is open in feb or not. Like I said, we haven't stayed there, but did think we might check it out this year, although that said kids love the haven site down the rd lol.
