clutch and main oil seal replacement

getting these done this month on my jx 1.6td.
anyone recommend other things to be replaced as a matter of course while this is being done?

Change gearbox oil.
Lubricate clutch release arm swivels and release bearing forks
Check gearbox input shaft seal
Check CV joint gaitors
Repack inner CV joints
Replace CV bolts if made of cheese
Check starter motor connections
Check gearbox earth strap
Lubricate gear linkage
I would say replace starter motor bush but you have a d****l

wow! my mechanic will be busy
best to get all this done though - dont want to open her up again for a while.

Check and lightly lubricate spigot bearing

for the sake of 6 quid fit a new spigot bearing imho, make sure it is fitted 1.6mm recessed not flush with end of crank
