Propex envy

As our van is used daily I'm planning a propex heater for next winter, but can they blow air from outside for cooling in hot weather?,

Also looked at the HS2000E model http://www.bluebird-type2.co.uk/propexh ... icinfo.htm but at £730 it's a bit pricey, anyone have any experience with it?

We're heading for warmer climates in 2 years so air con would seem to make more sense but don't think it can be added, anyone fitted it on a '91 1.9 petrol ?

Later Propex models can blow cool (unheated air) but as far as I know it is recycled air from the interior of the vehicle. This is because it is only the air for the burner that is drawn for outside & the air is exhausted outside after combustion takes place. It is actually a heat exchanger.

This seems to be suspiciously like a Techical post in General Chat

they dont blow from outside, its two separate systems tho it will circulate air without the burner going? as for the one your looking at I would go for the basic gas/12v one, you can get a cheap fan heater for when on hook up!
