the syncro is at home,
the Scooby is parked at Stansted
and I am in Holland near the german border... The snow has kept falling all day..
I'm supposed to be flying back on Wed afternoon for xmas but the forecast doesnt look good... i
f the scooby was here, i'd stand a cahnce.. if the syncro was here.. I'd get home..
As it is I reckon I could miss Xmas with the wife and kids............... and be stuck here on my own.........

if I had a spare week and fuel wasn't so expensive I'd collect you and take you home. Be a right little jaunt that would in this weather!

Can you swap your plane ticket for a rail one? (would they refund as they cant fly you) Are they running? Brugge to London in 2 hours?

Local trains have been a nightmare... 1 of my co workers were supposed to fly friday and sat.. left at 12:30.. got within 2 miles of Schipol and had to come back.. no trains into the airport and no flights... 7 hour trip..
Fuel and ferry would be covered... within reason...
At this moment I am even considering buying a cheap car to drive back in.. even if I have to throw it away after.....

Feel for you mate. I'm dreading taking out my gearbox, not because of the cold or the work, but because we need it just to get around! The SA is too much of a handful with the tread the tyres have got left.
More snow forecast for the south Monday avo and overnight...

I think the price I paid him for my syncro included your safe return to the UK for christmas.
