Anyone got or know of a place to get some stock Syncro rear springs?
Brickwerks, JK and Vw have none and none expected.
Or an alternative that will match my stock shocks. Only problem is the van is at a garage so I need to get them next week or I can't drive back to the peaks in it. Syncro don't belong in east London!!
Getting a bit desperado now, surely there must be something out there

brickwerks are hoping for some soon, i have some on backorder, they have been let down by their supplier and the specific technical dimentions were messed up at the factory i belive. i have new rear springs in the store room but they are not exact. you may be able to use them with a lift kit spacer to achive the desired height if you really are desperate but i`ve not discussed this with simon or mike so dont know how they would feel about it.

Ring Ian at Syncronutz and ask him, they should have some used ones you can borrow to shift the van, I've got a pair on the sika shell but I'd be struggling to go to the lockup and take them off it at the mo, too much on and not enough daylight hours
Ian has been off work for 10 days with serious food poisoning, hopefully he'll be in on Monday and Russel will be back then too so they might be able to help
but unless the old ones have got broken pigtails and van has failed mot on that you could just run back on them

Thanks guys, I'll try syncronutz on Monday. I guess the old ones can go back on. 1 is snapped but thinknit was for a while. Will it c**k my new dampers up using the broke spring.
Or will leaving the blue springs on significantly affect the ride abilities. They were not cheap so would prefer to send them back if they are a big compromise!
Thanks though

I would guess the dampers would be fine. I would worry more about the packing at each end. Finding them is really like rocking horse pooh. if you refit broken springs what is the impact on the packing? Not sure what they are made of but they arn't steel. Your problem was mine last week but managed to get a couple of SH's from Henning at Syncro Services. I bought a pair from from JK but they were too short? I think they had the same lot Baxter got and sent back.
