does anyone know if the bbw "petrol" can be converted to a dbw "diesel" or are they totally different units, ecu`s and wiring looms. i`ve got a bbw/dbw46 manual and they seem to deal with both heaters the same with regard to parts and service.

would like to convert mine to run on diesel.

cheers lee.

It looks as though it should be possible - have you got a full set of manuals? I've got: BBW DBW 46 Installation Instructions. BBW-DBW 46 Workshop Manual .+ 2006 price list which will give you an idea of cost.

It's a bit of overkill for one of our vans though - 4.6Kw will fry you!!!!

Yep - same as I originally posted - the burner mattings - 43/44 - don't forget to snip a clearance area in the holder as shewn in the manual.

Do you think that's all it needs to run on diesel. Seems to easy to me.

Thanks again. Lee.
