leaky sensor!!

HI guys and girls.I have a 1990 1.6td (JX) there is some kind of sensor at the back of the cylinder head near the top(sensor is horizontal) with a spade connector and a single blue wire that attaches to it. It appears to be leaking oil through the body of the sensor and onto the spade connector. This eventually fills the rubber boot and drips!!!. can anyone tell me if they have had the same problem and what part it is so i can fit a new one. cheers

I can't speak for the JX Diesel engine, I know nothing about them. However, my WBX engine weaped oil through the oil pressure switch both the original brown sensor and the GSF replacement Blue sensor 0.3 bar sensor. Try looking at the WIKIs it may shed more light on it, or I'm sure someone who knows will be in touch soon.
If it is an oil pressure switch, they're only £4-5 and easy to change but get a decent one, try Brickwerks.
