Club 80-90 has been very got place for helping me fix techical faults on my van and with how it runs, im also going to be changeing the interior and wondered what other people have used when doing a diy interior i also had the idea of fitting a small wood burner in the van but as yet cant find anyone whos done it, so if anyones had a go at doing there interior an its come out a success let me know cheers All again for previous help. Wodburners have been mentioned before, but personally I think that these are far too small to fit one into.

There's lots of photos in the garage sectio for ideas on interiors and some Westy-type plans in the wiki if you want to have a starting point

Ikea do great kitchen units that fit in campers

The Wood burner i was looking at was a tiny gas bottle conversion was going to fit in behind drivers seat with a fire board suround, we have a little fan heater at the minute but doesnt kick of much heat and no good for wild camp. Cheers Kev ill check out ikea pains me to do so because i hate shopping there like a maze i avoid at all costs...but for the Dub ill make an exception.

you'll have to put a flue in for solid fuel, due to CO poisoning

All the above considerations for woodburner, plus the fact you will just get too hot

I lived in a caravan in North Yorkshire years ago, with one in (made from a gas bottle), also had an old Bedford bus with a lerge one fitted in it back in the mid 80's.... It's a lovely idea but not practical in such a small vehicle in my opinion.

I built my interior using Ikea "factum" units...

I said it would be too hot, not exactly how I meant though....
