Anyone used trim like this on the rear edge of the A pillar as a cab door whistle stop? I've asked for a sample

The trim fits onto the A pillar and would run from the end of the A pillar gutter trim to the bottom of the cab door

It was only a thought
I thought factory whistle strips fitted on the inside of the A pillar, as per picture below, and stopped the wind whistling into the gap between the A pillar and cab door?

My door does not have them. They were optional extras on caravelles and multivans iirc
There was also a rubber gasket that fitted to the top of the cab doors and ran up along the angled edge of the door and then along the top to the B pillar. Part was 171837913F but this is long since extinct

You're right James No.14 (a simple rubber gasket) was factory fitted to higher spec vans along with the main whistle stop handed rail and gasket seals (6a and 6b in image below)
Both rails are available new but one gasket seal is obsolete (about £60 for the 3 available parts). Number 14 in your picture is also obsolete but I have never come across them 2nd hand or seen them referred to as whistle stops. It's always been 6a or 6b.
Hopefully the rubber trim I got a sample of can be a cheap way of stopping the wind whistling around the side of the door. I've never noticed any noise from the top

I was thinking "I don't suffer from whistling doors," then I saw this -

and thought that's probably why. It just doesn't go fast enough.
