OK, I'm biting the bullet and lending my son and his girlfriend my new van. He's getting first camping trip in it
Does anyone know of somewhere within about 50 miles or so of York area where there's an open site, or somewhere safe. He's OK. He's a handy lad. His girlfriend is pregnant so not so brave at the moment. It's a birthday treat for her! Any ideas more than welcome. It's just for an overnight stop. It might even convert them!!
Thanks

Why not send them over to 'Bay? A nice steady drive and not too busy at the moment.

Thought about that and mentioned it. He said if I enjoy going there it must be a real old fogey place!! (bar steward). I agree with you though. It's a great place, especially when quiet. I'll still try to talk him into it. I'm FREE next year (retired) so will be there lot's. We could arrange a mini meet if you're up for it. Almost any time to suit you. (Not week which includes 16th July or 22nd Sept).

They've decided. It's Hookes House Farm, ground conditions permitting. They want to spend time in Whitby so just a 5 mile drive from the site. Wish it was me going
