I don't know of a VW mechanic in Glasgow but there are T25 owners on this forum who travel a long way to take their beloved vans to a synco/non-syncro specialist at Shotts, only 22miles from you.
Someone will tell you the name of the owner & the name of the garage soon, just be patient.

Buckfast is a legend of a drink - but it is not from Scotland!!
Come along to a weekend away and uncover the mystery that is Buckfast (or doa google search and read the result from the wiki)

I havn't done a google yet Louey but I have a vague recollection of
Buckfast being mentioned on the forum previously. I should have realised
that it's some demon drink from Buckfast Abbey near Buckfastleigh, Devon.
I'll do a google later & find out exactly what sort of drink it is.

Jackie,
The Capaldi garage in Bridgeton is good for servicing etc, the guy in there really knows his way around these vehicles. Its just off london road, opposite the Crimson Star pub.
