propex question

Hi I was wondering if this is a stupid question.I am wanting to do some winter camping and was thinking of changing to propane gas and just wondered if the propex will be ok to run on it ok rather than the butane.I know i will have to change the regulator.

not a stupid question.....i got a propex bottle and regulator from the blue cos i thought a propex heater wouldn't run on butane (blue bottle i believe)
so yeah, the propex will run fine on the red bottle with the red regulator!
