Strength was an issue for me, that and security of rear passengers so I made my own from steel and not regretted it. Much of the project is on the page below. May help you decide whats best for you. Was cheaper than the JK one:

The guy who helped me put it together said he'd make more of them from my design if there was a demand (hes just been made redundant).
