A little while ago I asked a few questions about the propex heater units as mine wasn't working. I decided to leave it until the new year when hopefully I'll have some pennies to get someone to take a look.

But, today while out I think I knocked the 'on' switch before I left the van while out. Came back a few hours later and could hear a whirring noise, low and behold it was the heater fan. I turned on the gas and got heat out of the darn thing. It smelt a pretty dusty and was noisier than I expected.

So, given this minor 'miracle' has anyone got any tips? I've already given thanks to the god of old veedubs!

Yes now that it is working you should run it at least once every month or two for a short time this will stop the bearings from bedding in.

you probably had a flat leisure battery when you last tried it

Ah, no. The leisure batt was fully charged. This was truly a miracle!

Just crossing my fingers that it will work next time...
