any ideas?

well the tap used to work ok in our westy but then stopped

i tried a different water pump and no joy, there seems to be power under the tap but none at water pump connections with switches on or off

could the tap be knackered? or is there anything else i should be trying

the water lever thing has stopped working as well now :(

on ours if you pull the bit that turns the tap on/off there is a micro switch.this might need replacing.or squirting with wd 40.
i dont know what a water lever is sorry.so cant help you on that one..

In my 1990 Westy the water level indicator and the water pump are run off a 16 (i think) amp fuse in the tiny fusebox behind the drivers seat on the door pillar (it's the red fuse not the blue one). If your Joker's similar, you could try changing that?

There is power under the tap? if so the fuse is ok to there.
Is there power on the output of the tap switch when you activate it? if not then the tap switch is knackered.
If there is then it sounds like the wiring between the tap and the pump is gone, there could be a fuse or a relay in there though and this might be the easy solution.

its turned out there was something in the tap, tooke it all out and something was rattling, undid the top and a bit fell out and works fine now

water level seems to be a contact on one of the sensors as it works when i touch it or move it about, then goes off when i let it go
no worries really about that tho
